After careful consideration of Government guidelines and the health and safety of all involved, it has been decided with sadness, that this year’s Sheep Drive and Livery Fair on Southwark Bridge will not take place on 27th September 2020. However, watch this space for exciting plans for next year, for which the date is Sunday 26th September 2021!
We are honoured that the Worshipful Company of Woolmen’s Sheep Drive 2020 will be led by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, one of the world’s greatest sopranos, accompanied by The Lord Mayor of London, William Russell.
Members of the Lloyd’s Classic Motor Club exhibited some of their most-loved classic cars in an exclusive display at Leadenhall Market on Sunday 29th September.
Another splendid day where Freemen of the City of London drove sheep across the Thames, re-enacting their historic right to bring their sheep to market in the city, this year led by the Rt Hon Michael Portillo and Lord Mayor of London.

Respected artist Barry John MBE – a former soldier and professional painter who was awarded the MBE for his work in the field of art, community and mental health, started painting when he was a soldier, and his military travels have significantly shaped his work.
